How To Disable Your Facebook Account Temporarily
If you began feeling a little uneasy with all the data leakage stories
popping up now and then, or wanted to take a break from Facebook without
completely giving it up once, this lets your account deactivate
Follow these simple steps: -
Log in to Your Account
First, We have to log in to our Facebook account and Open Facebook
application. Then enter UserId and Password.
Access Account Settings
when you’re logged in, click on your profile in the top right corner of
the screen. From the dropdown menu, click Settings & privacy, then click on
Settings.
Find the Deactivation Option
In the side menu, you can see Privacy, click on Privacy and then choose
Your Facebook Information. Here, you’ll see an option for Deactivation and
Deletion. Click on it.
Choose to Deactivate
You’ll be given two choices: to deactivate your account or to delete it
permanently. Select Deactivate Account, then click Continue to Account
Deactivation.
Confirm Your Decision
Facebook will ask you to enter your password and might request the
reason for your decision. Fill in the required details and then click Continue.
Final Steps
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process. when you
done, your account will be deactivated. This means your profile won’t be
visible, but you can reactivate it anytime by logging back in.
